CPD for KS3 Teachers
I have been running courses on planning and teaching at KS3 for many years with a focus on ‘Active Learning’ to enhance pupils’ enjoyment and their level of knowledge and understanding. These courses have also increasingly dealt with planning issues to combat many of the problems in the original national curriculum.
Happily many of the ideas discussed in these courses have found their way into the new programme of study and as a result I can now offer teachers, local authorities and other organisations courses on KS3 which build on long experience of tackling the issues raised by the 2008 PoS.
These courses can focus on planning or teaching activities or a combination of the two.

CPD for 2008 KS3 PoS
The new PoS is a major step forward offering real opportunites but this requires clear thinking about creating outline and depth studies in order to build a coherent course. My KS3 courses aim to help teachers solve their constant problem – how to fit everything in – while also demonstrating a range of enjoyable and challenging activities for pupils.
