Henry VII
The beginnings of something more detailed and coherent!
For someone who became fascinated by the Wars of the Roses as a result of reading about Richard III and the Princes in the Tower, I seem to spend far more time nowadays on Henry VII. I thoroughly enjoy running sessions on Henry for A level students and you’ll find details of these courses on the student page [ See student courses ].
In due course I hope to have time to develop new activities on Henry VII for A level teachers in addition to those already on the site. In the meantime here are a couple of past articles in case you don’t have ready access to them, together with information on Sean Cunningham's new book and links to relevant activities on this site.

A good deal of work has been undertaken on Henry VII in recent years but Henry remains puzzling and students still have the same problem I was trying to deal with here – how to reconcile the intriguing complexities of Henry’s personality and reign with the often dull certainties conveyed in older textbooks.
