Interactive Days for A–Level Students
I am no longer offering courses for A level students.
The main reason? Because I'm a stranger to the students and am using a range of teaching styles the benefit of the activities is much diluted - the students have to spend too much time trying to get used to this unknown person in their midst. This doesn't mean the methods don't work - simply that they work much better in the context of an existing confident relationship between students and teacher.
I am however hoping to run courses for teachers on A level teaching styles in 2009-10, focussing on activities on the Wars of the Roses and Henry VII. These will be advertised initially via the newsletter so that those who have signed up for the newsletter get preference in booking.
