A new activity and a new Model for other activities.

It’s maybe a surprise we haven’t had a ‘marketplace’ activity before as this strategy can be used in many contexts but this example from Julia Huber and Louise-Marie Hosking will help GCSE students get to grips with Egyptian Medicine.

If you don’t teach this topic do visit the generic ‘Marketplace’ section for ideas on where else this technique might be applied from KS2 to A level – it’s a valuable method for building students’ confidence, independence in learning and sense of teamwork. I’ve added a dozen brief ideas but you can probably double that!
